Founded in 1741, Wegelin & Co. is Switzerland's oldest bank. This long history has been marked by our autonomy and independence. One aspect of our independence is our legal status - a limited partnership whose partners have unlimited liability. That means that ownership and business responsibility are in the same hands.

We consider ourselves as partners for clients who want a personal relationship with their bank. Wegelin & Co. have developed a new and innovative investment process that is based on sound financial theory and quantitative research and that enables us to construct investment portfolios that reflect the specific needs of each individual client. We specialize in developing customized wealth management and retirement planning solutions for our clients.
 
We aim to provide our clients with services that generate the maximum value, with fair rates and fees. We are maintaining our lead in the development of structured products, and we make practical use of current research in our product range. We apply state-of-the-art methods to monitor the risks of our clients and provide transparent reporting. Wegelin & Co. maintain a close relationship with the University of St. Gallen.
