Private Wealth Management (Discretionary investment management, portfolio management, advisory services)

Private banking is one of our areas of excellence, for which we have developed an exclusive approach. Mirabaud refuses to employ standardised solutions, with a view to offering the best possible risk-adjusted performance. It has always regarded its clients as unique, offering them personalised asset management strategies based on high-level expertise, and taking into account each client’s specific needs, profiles and objectives.

In formulating investment strategies, its managers rely largely on internal resources: financial analysis, market data tables, qualitative and quantitative analysis, fund and fund manager selection, as well as Mirabaud’s other teams of experts around the world. Nevertheless, quality asset management also demands a holistic approach. Mirabaud therefore also offers its clients family office services and inheritance and financial advice in the field of wealth engineering through all of the Group’s expertise and the support of its solid network of partners.

In all our offices, we can satisfy our clients’ interests by providing financial advisory, asset management, execution and custody services.

Asset Management (Institutional investment management, traditional and alternative funds / mandates, asset allocation funds / mandates)

Mirabaud has global management and sales teams for institutional management in London, Geneva, Zurich, Paris, Barcelona and Montréal. For its institutional clients, over the last 20 years Mirabaud Asset Management has developed a broad range of services, applying an active management approach and conviction, based on the principle of risk-adjusted performance, taking account in particular of market risks.

Funds having become a key component of management, we offer a targeted range of internally managed funds for both private and institutional clients. In sectors where Mirabaud is not present, only top-rate products and services are selected by the Group’s research and analysis teams.

In the area of traditional management we offer our clients a number of domestic funds (Switzerland, France,Spain, United Kingdom), regional funds (North America, Europe, Asia, Emerging Markets, Worldwide), asset allocation funds (conservative, balanced, growth) and bond funds (fixed rate and convertible bonds). These products enable us to diversify the risks arising from investments in the international financial markets in the interests of our clients. As pioneers in alternative fund management, we were one of the first Swiss banking institutions to market this service nearly 40 years ago. Our specialists, most of whom are based in Geneva, are therefore in a position to offer a number of regional and global funds of hedge funds geared to defined strategies and covering primarily liquid alternative management styles, offering an asymmetric yield profile.

Intermediation (Brokerage, corporate finance, debt capital management)

Our intermediary services comprise three areas: brokerage, corporate finance and debt capital management. In order to avoid any conflict of interest, we always act as an agency broker, i.e. as an intermediary and  advisor, without investing for our own account.

Our brokerage platforms are located: in Geneva, mainly for the Swiss market; in London, for our UK activities and the European markets; and in Hong Kong, for the Asian markets. In Spain since 2010, Mirabaud is also highly regarded for its expertise in the Spanish equity and bond markets - and we now have a window on Latin America.

In 2006, we added a specialisation in corporate finance, concentrating on the energy sector, particularly renewables, as well as natural resources and new technologies. From our London base, we carry out IPOs, capital increases and mergers and acquisitions on the UK’s smaller sub-market, AIM, principally for these industries.

Founded in 2009, London-based Independent Debt Capital Markets (IDCM), Mirabaud’s exclusive  representative, brings together issuers looking for finance and investors keen to supply the required capital within a single body offering advisory, arrangement and execution services. The services offered are geared towards large-cap and mid-cap issuers and institutional investors. In partnership with our issuer clients, we design optimal personalised solutions adapted to their strategic plans and financial requirements.
